Job Title:  Executive Assistant

Location:  New York

About the role:  This role provides support and assistance to the co-heads of Marathon Capital’s New York City office and other firm leadership. This Executive Assistant will handle a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks involving the clerical, administrative function, research, and management roles. Responsible for schedule management, office management, communication liaison, information preparation, company records management, data analysis, and representing the executive to others. They will ensure effective use of time and productive interactions with staff and the public. Must be comfortable handling confidential information and communications. They have full comprehension of our company's operations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule business appointments, meetings, travel, client visits, conferences, and events. Assist other team members with these items as needed.
  • Receive and screen communications including telephone calls, voicemail messages, email and other correspondence providing assistance using independent judgement in responding appropriately.
  • Maintain and proactively update Executive team telephone, contact list, calendar, mail, and other miscellaneous documents and/or systems.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Provides a wide variety of general administrative support for clients, and/or assists with projects as needed.
  • Manage office including ordering supplies, food, client lunches, IT requests, etc.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent PC skills, experience using internet software, Microsoft Office, and CRM applications.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
